Works, Municipalities Affairs and Urban Planning Minister Essam bin Abdulla Khalaf received newly appointed Israeli Ambassador to Bahrain, Eitan Naeh. The meeting discussed topics related to cooperation, especially in the agricultural field, in light of the signing of the memorandum of understanding (MoU) between the two countries to develop agricultural sector. Minister Khalaf stressed the importance of exchanging agricultural experiences between the two countries to achieve enhanced food security. The ambassador affirmed his country’s keenness to consolidate cooperation relations with the Kingdom, expressing his pride and appreciation for the bilateral relations, especially agricultural and modern technologies sectors. The Housing ministry distributed 2,000 more units to citizens in Khalifa and Salman towns.

 

This came in an implementation of the royal directives of distributing 40,000 housing units and the order of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, to distribute an additional 2,000 housing units.

 

The ministry continued to deliver the units’ keys for applicants according to the prepared list and the delivery process was carried out with the necessary precautionary measures.

 

It said that these projects are distinguished by their locations and facilities and confirmed the constant keenness to provide housing units and the best services to citizens to meet aspirations.
