Manama:Prince Abdullah Al Faisal Sports City: Bahrain's national football team suffered a 3-0 defeat against the United Arab Emirates in their second Group B match of the 27th Arabian Gulf Cup.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the UAE's victory secured their place in the semi-finals with six points from two matches. They top the group on goal difference ahead of Qatar, who also have six points. Both teams have qualified for the semi-finals before their final group match. Bahrain and Yemen, on the other hand, were eliminated after losing their first two matches.
The UAE took the lead with a goal from Ousmane Camara in the 30th minute. Guilherme Bala extended the lead in the 66th minute, and Ali Saleh sealed the win with a third goal in the 88th minute.
