UAE President and Egyptian President Discuss Bilateral Cooperation

Cairo: His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the United Arab Emirates (UAE), met with Abdel Fattah El Sisi, President of the Arab Republic of Egypt, during a visit to Egypt.

According to Bahrain News Agency, the meeting reviewed the close relations and areas of cooperation between the two countries. It also discussed means to enhance bilateral cooperation, particularly in development sectors, in support of mutual interests and shared prosperity.

Both sides affirmed their commitment to continuing consultation on various issues amid the shared challenges facing the region. The meeting also reviewed regional and international issues of mutual interest, particularly developments in the Middle East and their serious implications for regional and international security and stability.

The two sides stressed the importance of promoting peace and stability as essential foundations for development and a more prosperous future for the peoples of the region.
