UAE-Chad Trade and Investment Forum Commences with Over 2,000 Participants in Abu Dhabi

Abu dhabi: The UAE-Chad Trade and Investment Forum opened in Abu Dhabi, gathering more than 2,000 participants, including ministers, officials, investors, and several official delegations. The forum aims to strengthen economic and trade relations between the UAE and Chad.

According to Bahrain News Agency, the forum will see the signing of several memoranda of understanding in key sectors such as infrastructure, energy, agriculture, agribusiness, logistics, and financial services. These agreements are part of broader efforts to advance collaboration in these priority areas.

Discussions at the event focus on expanding economic and trade cooperation between the two nations and exploring potential opportunities in sectors including mineral resources, energy, responsible corporate development, partnerships, and agricultural and food value chains.

The forum's agenda also covers discussions on water and electricity projects, large-scale development financing, transport corridors, and logistics services such as railways, ports, and airlines. Additionally, topics like digital transformation, fibre networks, digital services development, human capital, education, health, tourism, cultural exchange, and joint investment opportunities are being addressed.
