UAE and Kuwait Condemn Iranian Attacks in Regional Security Call

Abu dhabi: His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the United Arab Emirates, engaged in a telephone conversation with Sheikh Jarrah Jaber Al Ahmad Al Sabah, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the State of Kuwait.

According to Bahrain News Agency, the call focused on reviewing the current developments in the region. Both foreign ministers expressed strong condemnation of the Iranian terrorist attacks targeting Kuwait with missiles and drones. The assault resulted in one fatality, injuries, and significant damage to critical infrastructure, including Kuwait International Airport and various diplomatic missions.

HH Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan reaffirmed the UAE's unwavering solidarity with Kuwait, emphasizing support for all measures undertaken by Kuwait to ensure its security and stability. He highlighted that the security of Kuwait is intrinsically linked to that of the UAE and the broader Gulf Arab states.

The UAE Foreign Minister underscored that the Iranian aggression, which also targeted diplomatic missions and premises, violates international norms and laws. He described it as a dangerous escalation and a direct threat to the security and stability of the region.
