Manama:Fatima bint Jaffar Al Sairafi, the Minister of Tourism of Bahrain, met with Abdulla bin Touq Al Marri, the Minister of Economy and Tourism of the United Arab Emirates, during the Gateway Gulf 2026 event.
According to Bahrain News Agency, Minister Al Sairafi emphasized the strong relations between Bahrain and the UAE, highlighting their collaboration across various fields. She stressed the importance of ongoing coordination, expertise exchange, and sharing successful experiences to advance the tourism sector and capitalize on promising opportunities for tourism integration.
The meeting focused on enhancing bilateral cooperation in tourism, exploring potential tourism and investment partnerships, and addressing mutual interests. These efforts are directed at supporting the growth and enhancing the competitiveness of the tourism sector both regionally and internationally. Both ministers reiterated their commitment to expanding cooperation and developing initiatives and partnerships that foster sustainable growth in tourism between the two nations.
