Manama: Shaikh Dr. Rashid bin Mohammed bin Futtais Al Hajeri, Chairman of the Sunni Endowments Council, recently met with Khalil Ibrahim Al Zaabi, Head of the Middle East, North Africa, and Asia Region at the Islamic Corporation for the Development of the Private Sector. The Islamic Corporation is a member of the Islamic Development Bank Group (IsDB).
According to Bahrain News Agency, the chairman praised the Islamic Corporation for its significant role in supporting development projects and fostering sustainable economic partnerships in the region. He emphasized the importance the Council places on initiatives that enhance the development of the endowment sector and expand investment opportunities within it.
The meeting focused on exploring potential collaboration between the Sunni Endowments Council and the Islamic Corporation for the Development of the Private Sector. The discussions centered around endowment investment and development-oriented projects aimed at bolstering endowment resources and ensuring financial sustainability for charitable and community initiatives.
Al Zaabi expressed appreciation for the Kingdom’s advancements in managing endowments and increasing their resources. He reiterated the Corporation’s dedication to enhancing cooperation and sharing expertise in investment and development financing.
