Manama:The Central Bank of Bahrain (CBB) has announced that the latest monthly issuance of Sukuk Al-Salam Islamic securities has been oversubscribed by 290%.
According to Bahrain News Agency, The total subscriptions amounted to BD 144.980 million for the BD 50 million issue, which is set to mature in 91 days. The issuance, which starts on October 7 and concludes on January 6, 2027, offers an expected return of 5.49%, up from the previous issue's 5.31% on September 9.
The Sukuk Al-Salam securities are issued by the CBB on behalf of the Government of the Kingdom of Bahrain, and this release marks issue No.306 (BH00089C2403) in the series of short-term Sukuk Al-Salam.
