Manama:Ahmed bin Salman Al Musallam, Speaker of the Council of Representatives, received Dr. Necati Sancaktutan, the newly appointed Ambassador of the Republic of Türkiye to the Kingdom of Bahrain.
According to Bahrain News Agency, Al Musallam expressed his best wishes for the ambassador's success in his diplomatic role, emphasizing the ongoing development of bilateral relations between Bahrain and Türkiye. This relationship is supported by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and His Excellency Recep Tayyip Erdogan, President of the Republic of Türkiye.
The Speaker reiterated the parliamentary backing for enhancing Bahrain-Türkiye cooperation in various sectors, aiming to benefit the mutual interests of both nations and their citizens.
Ambassador Sancaktutan, in turn, conveyed his gratitude to the Speaker and the legislative authority for their efforts and commended Bahrain's progress under its comprehensive development strategy.
