Manama: Ahmed bin Salman Al Musallam, Speaker of the Council of Representatives, extended his congratulations to the Bahrain Institute for Political Development (BIPD) on its 20th anniversary, emphasizing the Royal Vision that has empowered the Institute as a pivotal national platform for enhancing democratic culture and political awareness throughout society.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the Speaker praised Bahrain's continuous progress in democratic and parliamentary development, along with the Kingdom's strong regional and international reputation established under the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and the guidance of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister.
Al Musallam highlighted the dedication of the Board of Trustees and the executive team, noting the Institute's contributions to supporting the activities of the Shura and Representatives Councils, municipal bodies, and various national institutions.
He reaffirmed the Council of Representatives' commitment to sustaining its strategic partnership with the Institute, particularly in providing parliamentary education programmes, enhancing political engagement, and fostering greater participation among young people. He expressed his best wishes for the Institute's continued success in its mission to serve the nation.
