Manama:Ahmed bin Salman Al Musallam, Speaker of the Council of Representatives, welcomed Simon Martin CMG, the Chargé d'Affaires of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland to the Kingdom of Bahrain.
According to Bahrain News Agency, Al Musallam praised the longstanding historical and strategic ties between Bahrain and the UK, emphasizing parliamentary support for enhancing bilateral cooperation.
During the meeting, Al Musallam underscored the ongoing development of relations between the two countries across various fields. This progress is supported by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and His Majesty King Charles III, King of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland and Head of the Commonwealth.
The discussions covered issues of mutual interest and examined bilateral cooperation, particularly focusing on the parliamentary, economic, and investment sectors.
