Manama: His Highness Shaikh Khalifa bin Ali Al Khalifa, Southern Governor, engaged in a meeting with Ibrahim bin Hassan Al Hawaj, Minister of Works, to discuss vital service and development projects aimed at addressing the needs of residents in the Southern Governorate.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the discussions focused on key initiatives to enhance the region's infrastructure. This includes plans to advance the road network for improved traffic flow and upgrades to rainwater drainage systems to mitigate water accumulation issues during the rainy season. These projects are part of ongoing efforts to ensure sustainable infrastructure in the governorate.
HH Shaikh Khalifa bin Ali reiterated the governorate's dedication to assessing and addressing the service and development needs of its residents. He stressed the importance of collaboration with relevant authorities, under the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and the support of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister.
The Southern Governor highlighted that the projects reflect robust coordination with various ministries, including the Ministry of Works, to meet citizens' development aspirations. He emphasized the significance of joint efforts to achieve comprehensive development goals and discussed accelerating planned projects to ensure their timely and effective execution.
Minister Al Hawaj affirmed the Ministry of Works' commitment to development projects that align with national plans to boost infrastructure and meet the expectations of Southern Governorate residents.
