Osama bin saleh al alawi:sama bin Saleh Al Alawi, Minister of Social Development, visited Youth City 2030, organised by the Ministry of Youth Affairs in cooperation with strategic partner Labour Fund (Tamkeen), to review its programmes and initiatives aimed at developing young people's skills and capabilities and enhancing their readiness for the future. Rawan bint Najeeb Tawfiqi, Minister of Youth Affairs, was present.
According to Bahrain News Agency, Minister Al Alawi was briefed on the city's main centres and programmes, including the Science and Technology Centre, Arts and Culture Centre, Leadership and Entrepreneurship Centre, Media and Entertainment Centre, and Summer Sports City, which provide training and practical experiences for young people.
He noted that Youth City 2030 represents an advanced national model for investing in youth potential, commending its diverse programmes and opportunities to develop skills, talents, and practical experience. Minister Al Alawi highlighted the positive outcomes of the programmes, noting their role in developing young people's skills, self-confidence, teamwork, and sense of responsibility, while enabling them to turn their ideas into tangible projects and initiatives.
