Al ramli: Osama bin Saleh Al Alawi, Minister of Social Development; Lieutenant General Tariq bin Hassan Al Hassan, Chief of Police; Fatima Ibrahim Al Mannai, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Housing and Urban Planning; Brigadier Saleh Rashid Al Doseri, Director-General of the Northern Governorate Police Directorate; and Brigadier General Pilot Ali Mohammed Al Kubaisi, Director General of the General Directorate of Civil Defence, visited the residential apartment in Al Ramli where the fire occurred.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the visit was conducted under the directives of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, to investigate the tragic fire that claimed the lives of four family members. The officials were tasked with determining the fire's circumstances and causes, and taking necessary measures based on the investigation findings, with the results to be presented to the Cabinet promptly. The team inspected the site and reviewed the incident details and actions taken by relevant authorities, emphasizing the importance of swiftly completing the investigation.
The visiting officials also assessed the living conditions of other families in the building, highlighting the importance of continued coordination between authorities to provide support and ensure residents' safety. Minister Al Alawi stressed HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister's commitment to citizen safety and determination to address the incident's causes through comprehensive investigation and action. He extended condolences to the bereaved families.
The needs of the affected family were evaluated, and social support measures were coordinated among authorities to mitigate the incident's impact. The Social Development Minister reaffirmed the ministry's dedication to supporting the family and emphasized a cohesive approach to addressing humanitarian needs.
