Manama:Ali bin Saleh Al Saleh, Chairman of the Shura Council, welcomed Ni Ruchi, the outgoing Chinese Ambassador to Bahrain, highlighting the strengthening bilateral relations between the two nations.
According to Bahrain News Agency, Al Saleh emphasized the continuous growth of partnerships and reaffirmed Bahrain's dedication to enhancing cooperation with China in economic, commercial, and cultural sectors. He noted the increase in bilateral trade and encouraged more Chinese investment, citing Bahrain's strategic position as a gateway to both regional and global markets.
Al Saleh expressed appreciation for China's role in promoting peace and stability in the region. He conveyed hope that China would maintain its constructive involvement in addressing regional issues and encourage respect for sovereignty and good neighborly relations.
Ambassador Ni Ruchi praised Bahrain's commitment to peace and coexistence. He reiterated the shared commitment of China and Bahrain to regional peace and stability, as well as China's willingness to contribute positively to resolving regional conflicts.
