Shura Chairman Marks Bahraini Diplomatic Day


Manama: Ali bin Saleh Al Saleh, Chairman of the Shura Council, affirmed that the Kingdom is achieving notable diplomatic successes that reflect its enduring principles and the vision of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa. He noted that Bahrain’s foreign ties are based on respect for state sovereignty, good neighbourliness, and the promotion of regional and international security and peace, making the Kingdom a model for coexistence, tolerance, and dialogue among countries.



According to Bahrain News Agency, the chairman commended the diplomatic achievements under the reign of His Majesty the King, noting that they place Bahrain among the leading states supporting global coexistence and peace, in line with the Kingdom’s values and balanced approach to regional and international matters.



Marking Bahraini Diplomatic Day, he highlighted the efforts of Bahrain’s pioneering diplomats throughout history, who served as exemplary ambassadors of the Kingdom.



Al Saleh expressed pride in the leading role of Bahraini diplomacy in enhancing the Kingdom’s regional and international standing under the leadership of His Majesty the King. He commended the government, under the leadership of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, for supporting Bahrain’s approach to promoting tolerance, coexistence, and peace in Arab, Islamic, and global affairs, establishing the Kingdom as a model of civilisational identity in dialogue and cooperation among nations and peoples.



He also commended the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for its role in strengthening ties with countries worldwide and for promoting Bahrain’s message of tolerance and dialogue.
