Manama: On the occasion of Bahraini Doctor's Day, Ali bin Saleh Al Saleh, Chairman of the Shura Council, emphasised that this day serves as a tribute to Bahraini doctors and a celebration of their noble and humanitarian profession.
According to Bahrain News Agency, Al Saleh commended the efforts and achievements of Bahraini doctors, as well as their continued pursuit of specialised studies and medical research that contribute to the sustainable development of the national healthcare system. He highlighted that these achievements are the result of the unwavering support of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and the guidance of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister.
He also commended the contributions of Lieutenant General Dr. Shaikh Mohammed bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, Chairman of the Supreme Council of Health (SCH), and Dr. Jaleela bint Al Sayed Jawad Hassan, Minister of Health, in advancing the quality of medical and healthcare services, underscoring Bahrain's leading role in adopting best practices in medicine, nursing, and healthcare.
Al Saleh expressed pride in the dedication and growing efforts of Bahraini doctors and healthcare professionals across medical institutions and centres, acknowledging their vital role in serving the community and safeguarding public health.
He further commended the Bahrain Medical Society for its role in presenting ideas and visions to develop medical and therapeutic services, as well as for its programmes and initiatives that highlight the excellence and professionalism of Bahraini medical practitioners.
