Shura Chairman Highlights Humanitarian Efforts on International Day of Human Solidarity

Manama: Marking the International Day of Human Solidarity, Ali bin Saleh Al Saleh, Chairman of the Shura Council, emphasized the importance of bolstering cooperation and effective humanitarian partnerships to tackle global challenges and crises.

According to Bahrain News Agency, Al Saleh affirmed that the Kingdom of Bahrain, under the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, has established itself as a committed and active contributor to international humanitarian efforts. This commitment is driven by a royal vision that prioritizes human dignity, solidarity, and sustainable development.

He outlined that humanitarian and development work form a core pillar of Bahrain's national policies and international engagement. This approach reinforces Bahrain's role as a reliable partner in joint humanitarian efforts and underscores its commitment to supporting affected communities worldwide.

The Chairman praised the Government, led by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, for consistently supporting humanitarian and charitable initiatives. He noted that these efforts enhance stability and development, reflecting a unified national strategy.

Additionally, Al Saleh highlighted Bahrain's ongoing contributions to relief efforts and international initiatives. He emphasized the role of parliamentary diplomacy in promoting Bahrain's humanitarian approach and the significant contributions of civil society and community initiatives in fostering a culture of solidarity and humanitarian cooperation.
