Manama:Ali bin Saleh Al Saleh, Chairman of the Shura Council, sent a congratulatory cable to Faisal Akef Al Fayez following a Royal Decree reappointing him as President of the Senate of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, effective October 25.
According to Bahrain News Agency, Al Saleh expressed his wishes for Al Fayez's continued success in his role and acknowledged his distinguished national and parliamentary career.
The Shura Chairman praised Al Fayez for his extensive experience and contributions to Jordan and parliamentary work. He highlighted Al Fayez's commitment to advancing the achievements of the Jordanian Senate.
Al Saleh also emphasized the importance of further developing parliamentary cooperation between the Shura Council and the Jordanian Senate, which reflects the strong historical ties between Bahrain and Jordan.
He also commended the continuous progress in Bahrain-Jordan relations across various sectors.
