Tunis:Al Mabarrah AlKhalifia Foundation hosted a ceremony to honor the 13th cohort of Rayaat Scholarship Programme graduates at its headquarters. The event was attended by Her Highness Shaikha Zain bint Khalid Al Khalifa, Chairperson of the Board of Trustees, along with board members and foundation staff.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the ceremony celebrated graduates who completed bachelor's and master's degrees in fields aligned with labor market needs. These graduates represented various higher education institutions, including the University of Bahrain, Bahrain Polytechnic, the British University of Bahrain, Ahlia University, and the Euro University of Bahrain.
Her Highness Shaikha Zain bint Khalid expressed pride in the graduates' academic accomplishments and emphasized the importance of preparing them for professional life. She highlighted the foundation's role in equipping students with the skills and confidence necessary to contribute to their country and community.
The Rayaat Scholarship Programme is designed to support students' academic, personal, and professional growth. It offers training courses and workshops on self-confidence, assertiveness, public speaking, management, effective communication, and innovative problem solving.
Several graduates have already joined the workforce, taking on professional roles. This follows the success of previous cohorts, whose graduates have secured positions at leading companies and institutions. The program also emphasizes volunteerism and community engagement to foster active citizenship and social responsibility.
The ceremony concluded with Her Highness Shaikha Zain bint Khalid honoring the graduates and taking commemorative photographs with them, alongside the Board of Trustees and foundation staff.
