Manama: As part of its ongoing efforts to enhance the entrepreneurship ecosystem for startups, StartUp Bahrain, the Kingdom's leading national platform supporting emerging enterprises, hosted the 22nd edition of StartUp Bahrain Pitch. The event was supported by the Labour Fund "Tamkeen" and held in collaboration with the Ministry of Industry and Commerce, the Bahrain Economic Development Board, and the Bahrain Development Bank, in line with efforts to inspire innovation among Bahraini youth and reinforce the role of entrepreneurship in the national economy.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the event featured a judging panel of leading experts and seasoned investors in entrepreneurship, including Arwa Shafi, Investor Relations Lead at Oqal Angel Investors Network; Hamad AlFahad, Executive Director and Managing Partner at Tajawoz; and Laith Al Khalili, Associate Director at Mumtalakat. The event also featured a group of Bahraini startups, such as "Invo Pos Technologies", a subscription-based POS system that simplifies sales, operations, and customer engagement, and "Right Calories", a company providing subscription packages for healthy meals.
"Servable" stood out as a platform enabling organizations to build advanced artificial intelligence solutions, securing first place in the competition. "Loyale", an application consolidating loyalty points from multiple retail stores, earned second place. Mohamed Al Derazi from Servable highlighted the achievement as a turning point for the company, while Sayed Ahmed Al Marzooq from Loyale appreciated the opportunity to present their project to a distinguished panel and open new communication channels.
This support aligns with Tamkeen's strategic priorities for 2025, focusing on enhancing the position and competitiveness of Bahrainis in the private sector and supporting enterprise growth, digitization, and sustainability.
