SCIA President Meets with Egyptian Ambassador to Discuss Bilateral Ties


Manama: Shaikh Abdulrahman bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Khalifa, President of the Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs (SCIA), recently received Reham Abdelhamid Khalil, Ambassador of the Arab Republic of Egypt to the Kingdom of Bahrain, to discuss the robust bilateral relations between their nations.

According to Bahrain News Agency, Shaikh Abdulrahman bin Mohammed emphasized the enduring and strong ties between Bahrain and Egypt. He highlighted the commitment of both countries, under the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and His Excellency Abdel Fattah El Sisi, President of the Arab Republic of Egypt, to enhance cooperation across various sectors.

The Egyptian Ambassador, Reham Abdelhamid Khalil, praised the solid relationship between Bahrain and Egypt, with particular emphasis on religious and cultural collaboration.

During the meeting, the Ambassador presented a gift from Dr. Osama Al Azhari, the Minister of Endowments of Egypt. The gift, a collection of religious and scholarly publ
ications issued by the Ministry, was in recognition of the strong intellectual and spiritual connections shared by the two countries.
