SCH President inspects East Riffa Health Center

Supreme Council of Health (SCH)’s President and Head of the National Taskforce for Combating Coronavirus (COVID-19) Lt. General Dr. Shaikh Mohammed bin Abdullah Al Khalifa paid an inspection visit to East Riffa Health Center as part of his keenness to follow up on the progress of the national vaccination campaign.

 

SCH president affirmed that the national vaccination campaign achieved good results, as it was launched in implementation of the royal directives of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, and followed up by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa  The Crown Prince and the Prime Minister.

The royal order aimed to provide free vaccination to all citizens and residents to enhance health security plans and achieve community immunity.

 

He pointed out that the number of those received the first dose of vaccination exceeded one million doses, confirming the advanced level reached by the campaign, as this number of vaccinated people reflects the awareness and responsibility of citizens and residents of the importance of vaccination and its role in supporting national efforts to address the coronavirus,

 

Dr. Shaikh Mohammed bin Abdullah praised HM the King’s directives to vaccinate Bahraini citizens residing abroad, stressing that the collaboration between Health Ministry and Foreign Affairs Ministry has begun.
