SCH Chairman Inaugurates Bahrain Anesthesia and Pain Management Conference 2025


Manama: Lieutenant General Dr. Shaikh Mohammed bin Abdulla Al Khalifa, Chairman of the Supreme Council of Health (SCH), inaugurated the Bahrain Anesthesia and Pain Management Conference 2025, organised by the Government Hospitals in cooperation with Education Plus, held on April 17 and 18.



According to Bahrain News Agency, Dr. Shaikh Mohammed bin Abdulla highlighted that the conference reflects the support of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa for the medical sector, along with the guidance of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister.



The SCH Chairman praised the Government Hospitals for organising scientific forums that contribute to the growth of the medical sector in the Kingdom. Dr. Mariam Athbi Al Jalahma, Chief Executive of the Government Hospitals, stated that the conference is part of efforts to develop the medical sector by attracting experts from Bahrain and abroad to enhance knowledge exchange.



Dr. Al Jalahma mentioned that the event aims to highlight research and studies in anaesthesia and pain management, improve communication among experts, and showcase innovations, including artificial intelligence applications, drawing from global experiences.



Al Jalahma thanked Education Plus for its role in organising the conference, which saw significant attendance from prominent figures and professionals, alongside wide participation from those interested in the field. She wished all participants success in their endeavors.
