Manama: Lieutenant General Dr. Shaikh Mohammed bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, Chairman of the Supreme Council of Health (SCH), alongside Dr. Jaleela bint Al Sayyed Jawad Hassan, Minister of Health, conducted an inspection visit to Salmaniya Medical Complex to evaluate the health services following recent Iranian attacks on Bahrain.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the visit was aimed at assessing the medical readiness and the continuity of services in government hospitals. Lt. Gen. Dr. Shaikh Mohammed bin Abdullah affirmed the preparedness and efficiency of the medical teams, emphasizing the professionalism within Bahrain's healthcare system. He praised the efforts of medical teams in ensuring patient safety and handling challenges with expertise.
Lt. Gen. Dr. Shaikh Mohammed bin Abdullah reiterated the commitment of the health sector to utilize all available resources to maintain high standards of healthcare and prioritize community health and safety.
During their visit, the officials reviewed the operations of various departments at Salmaniya Medical Complex. They were informed about the medical and technical readiness and the procedures in place to handle emergencies swiftly and according to established protocols.
