Manama: Naif bin Bandar Al Sudairi, the Saudi Ambassador to Bahrain, has emphasized the significance of Bahrain hosting the 46th Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Summit as a testament to its leadership in promoting Gulf cooperation. He highlighted Bahrain's steadfast commitment to enhancing cooperation and integration among GCC countries under the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa.
According to Bahrain News Agency, Ambassador Al Sudairi remarked that hosting this major event is a reflection of Bahrain's deep belief in the importance of joint action aimed at achieving Gulf unity. The Ambassador noted that Bahrain's role is crucial in facilitating constructive dialogue and consensus among member states, thereby reinforcing confidence in the GCC's ability to address regional and international developments with awareness and responsibility.
Ambassador Al Sudairi underscored the importance of the summit, particularly in the context of rapid regional and global changes. He noted that the summit is expected to strengthen agreement on unifying foreign policy positions and coordinating responses to regional crises. He further explained that the 46th GCC Summit continues a series of achievements, reflecting the shared determination of GCC leaders to face challenges with a unified approach.
