Royal Medical Services, BRCS sign MoU

Royal Medical Services Commander Major-General Professor Shaikh Khalid bin Ali Al Khalifa received a delegation from Bahrain Red Crescent Society (BRCS) for the signing of the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU).

The MoU was signed to approve the Society as a training site for resuscitation courses of the American Heart Association under the supervision of the Crown Prince Center for Training and Medical Research.

The Major-General Professor and BRCS Secretary-General Mubarak Al Hadi discussed ways of cooperation in medical training that provides the medical needs for citizens and residents.

The Secretary-General affirmed the Society’s keenness to provide basic training for all and create a healthy culture that contributes to preserving the safety of people and the ability to identify injuries and how to contain them until the injured person receives professional help.

Al Hadi said that the center is considered one of the leading centers in the Kingdom and the region in the field of health training.

He noted that it will have a positive impact on achieving the Society’s goals and will contribute to a quantum leap in the ability of citizens and residents to receive specialized training courses in resuscitation, first aid and primary and advanced health care.
