Manama: Under the directives of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, Shaikh Khalid bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, Minister of the Royal Court, received the audited financial statements of the National Audit Office for the fiscal year ended December 31, 2025, from Shaikh Ahmed bin Mohammed Al Khalifa, Auditor-General of the National Audit Office.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the Minister praised the efforts of the Office's staff and the important role they perform through their duties and reports, which help safeguard public funds, ensure expenditure is lawful and properly managed, and promote the highest standards of productivity, efficiency and effective use of resources among entities subject to audit, thereby protecting Bahrain's assets and national achievements.
Shaikh Ahmed bin Mohammed said the progress and strengthened capabilities achieved by the Office since its establishment were the result of the continued support of His Majesty the King, and the follow-up of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, and his directives to ministries and institutions to cooperate with the Office. He noted that such support had enabled the Office to carry out its responsibilities and prepare its reports with professionalism and high standards.
He added that the Office remains committed to keeping pace with rapid developments in the international auditing field by monitoring and adopting the latest global practices in efficiency and effectiveness, helping to further enhance its work, improve its methods, and strengthen the performance of entities under its oversight.
