Manama: Ebrahim Dalhan Al Dosari, Acting Secretary-General of the Royal Humanitarian Foundation (RHF), participated in a virtual meeting with Jocelyn Fenard, who serves as the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) representative for the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC). The focus of the meeting was on strengthening collaboration in the areas of humanitarian and development efforts.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the discussions centered on reviewing the current initiatives of both the RHF and the UNFPA, highlighting their ongoing support for vulnerable populations. The meeting identified key areas for potential cooperation, particularly focusing on regions such as the Gaza Strip, Syria, and Sudan where humanitarian needs are pressing.
The parties also explored strategies to leverage specialized expertise in the health sector and improve the coordination of humanitarian aid. The dialogue underscored a shared commitment to enhancing the effectiveness of assistance delivered to those in need.
