Manama: The Royal Humanitarian Foundation (RHF) has been accredited under the Trusted Standard by the National Council for Voluntary Organisations (NCVO) in the United Kingdom. This achievement comes after RHF successfully met the requirements and indicators of the first level of the standard, underscoring its dedication to international best practices in the quality and sustainability of humanitarian work.
According to Bahrain News Agency, Ebrahim Dalhan Al Doseri, Acting Secretary-General of RHF, emphasized that the value of humanitarian work lies not in the amount of funds spent but in the quality of the systems governing expenditure and the precision in measuring impact. He highlighted that this accreditation serves as an independent external affirmation of RHF's robust governance framework and auditable procedures, which are crucial for maintaining donor confidence and ensuring beneficiary dignity.
The Trusted Standard is a specialized framework for quality and governance in organizations delivering social impact. It is designed to help organizations manage their resources and services efficiently and transparently across 11 organizational areas. These areas include governance, strategic planning, leadership and management, beneficiary-focused services, workforce management, learning and development, financial management, resource management, external communications, working with partners, and the evaluation of results and impact measurement.
