Manama: The State of Qatar has issued a strong condemnation of the renewed attacks by Iran against the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, labeling these actions as a violation of Jordan's sovereignty and territorial integrity. Qatar views these attacks as a breach of international law, the Charter of the United Nations, and principles of good neighborliness.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the State of Qatar asserted that the ongoing attacks represent a dangerous escalation, complicating efforts to contain regional tensions and undermining political and diplomatic endeavors aimed at securing regional stability. The ministry has held Iran legally accountable for the attacks and their consequences.
The ministry also reaffirmed Qatar's full solidarity with Jordan and its support for all measures Jordan takes to protect its sovereignty, security, and territorial integrity. It emphasized the urgent need for an immediate halt to all military operations and attacks that jeopardize regional security, calling for a return to dialogue and adherence to diplomatic agreements to prevent further escalation.
