Amman: The fifth session of the Qatari-Jordanian Joint Higher Committee took place in Amman, co-chaired by Shaikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani, Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Qatar, and Dr. Ayman Safadi, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates of Jordan.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the meetings focused on enhancing cooperation between Qatar and Jordan across multiple fields and addressing regional developments. The session aimed to strengthen the bilateral relationship and explore new avenues for collaboration.
The session concluded with the signing of several agreements, including a memorandum of understanding (MoU) in the field of endowments, a second executive program for cooperation in youth and sports, an MoU for cooperation in tourism and business events, an MoU on bilateral political consultations, and the general minutes of the 5th session of the Qatari-Jordanian Joint Higher Committee.
