: Chief of Public Security, Lieutenant-General Tariq Al Hassan, has chaired the Royal Academy of Police (RAP) Scientific Council meeting, attended by RAP Commander and the council members.
The Chief welcomed the members, asserting the continuation of the implementation of the directives of Interior Minister, General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdulla Al Khalifa, to develop scientific and training programmes to meet the security changes and challenges.
The council reviewed the topics on its agenda, including cooperation with the Mohammed bin Mubarak Al Khalifa Academy for Diplomatic Studies through the exchange of expertise and joint training courses.
The meeting reviewed the progress of the RAP artificial intelligence project. The council highlighted the importance of the project to invest in modern technologies in security and academic fields.
The Chief noted the significance of carrying on developing RAP services of education and training programmes to achieve its goals.
The Public Security Chief thanked the RAP administration and training teams, wishing them all the best.
