Manama: As part of its efforts to strengthen community engagement and promote judicial awareness, the Public Prosecution’s Forensic Evidence Directorate participated in the 4th Manama Health Congress and Expo, with active involvement and specialised presentations highlighting their technical and scientific roles.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the participation reflects the integration of expertise across different specialisations to serve the justice system. The event aimed to showcase the latest scientific and technical practices in evidence analysis and support for investigative bodies. It also provided a platform to highlight national capabilities and specialised expertise, emphasising the FED’s pivotal role in achieving justice.
The participation aims to raise awareness of the work of forensic evidence departments and laboratories and their role in protecting rights and upholding the rule of law. Simplified explanations were provided to exhibition visitors on evidence collection and analysis procedures and their importance in uncovering the truth. The FED focused on highlighting the human and preventative aspects of its work alongside its technical and legal roles. These efforts stem from the belief that public awareness is fundamental to community trust and contributes to supporting justice and enhancing security and stability.
