Prince Sultan Defense Studies Center Signs 6 Research Agreements at EDGEx 2025

Riyadh: Prince Sultan Defense Studies and Research Center on Monday signed several research contracts and agreements during the Education Global Exhibition (EDGEx 2025).

According to Bahrain News Agency, the event is held from April 13-16 in Riyadh and is organized by the Ministry of Education of Saudi Arabia. It features participation from major local and international academic institutions and technology companies in the education sector.

The agreements made on Monday included five research contracts with King Khalid University and Qassim University. These contracts focus on innovative and specialized studies in security and defense systems. Additionally, a cooperation agreement was signed with Prince Sattam bin Abdulaziz University.

Dr. Saud bin Saeed, Director General of Prince Sultan Defense Studies and Research Center, stated that EDGEx serves as a platform for discovering the latest innovations and scientific solutions across various domains. He emphasized that this aligns with the goals of the General Authority for Defense Development (GADD), which aims to train specialized human capital and localize defense technologies.
