Muscat: The total number of passengers traveling through the airports of the Sultanate of Oman by the end of January 2025 reached 1,331,619, compared to 1,417,442 passengers by the end of January 2024, marking a decrease of 6%.
According to Bahrain News Agency, preliminary statistics issued by the National Centre for Statistics and Information (NCSI) indicated that the number of passengers through Muscat International Airport by the end of January reached 1,200,339 passengers, a decrease of 7%. They traveled on board 8,099 flights, marking a decrease of 7.5% in the number of flights.
The statistics further showed that out of the total flights, 7,410 were international flights carrying 1,109,650 passengers, while 689 were domestic flights carrying 90,689 passengers.
