NSSA participates in workshops held by SSC

Manama, The National Space Science Agency (NSSA) participated in workshops held by the Saudi Space Commission (SSC) titled “Space Talk KSA”.


NSSA was represented by NSSA’s CEO Dr. Mohamed Ebrahim Al Aseeri and Chief of Strategic Planning & Projects Management Department (NSSA) Amal Al Binali.


The third workshop’s guest was Dr. Candace Johnson, founder and partner of global institutions such as SES/ASTRA and Loral Cyberstar-Teleport Europe which introduced Europe’s first cross-border telecom network and Europe’s Online Investment for the world’s first online service in addition being a commercial member of the International Chamber of Commerce is (ICC).


She highlighted women’s role in space by addressing her personal experience and the challenges she faced, and through her struggle she was able to reach decision-makers and convince them in order to get their support.

Al Binali explained that Bahrain is on the right path to enhance the empowerment of women to engage in all areas that develop their skills and qualify them to cope with future challenges and actively participate in development efforts, especially with the initiatives and projects launched by the Supreme Council for Women (SCW) to support Bahraini women.
