NBR Reduces Goods Data Processing Time to Seven Days

Manama: The National Bureau for Revenue (NBR) has announced an improvement in its service for registering or updating goods data, significantly reducing the processing time from 30 working days to just seven. This new service is available to producers and importers who meet the necessary requirements, allowing them to register new products or update data for existing ones through the NBR's online portal.

According to Bahrain News Agency, Rana Ibrahim Faqihi, Chief Executive Officer of the NBR, stated that the redesigned service simplifies review and approval procedures, facilitating faster processing and easier compliance with regulatory requirements. This development is part of broader government efforts to enhance and redesign services. To date, over 1,300 government services have been documented, translated, and published, with 800 of these services developed and redesigned based on feedback from the National Suggestions and Complaints System (Tawasul), investor feedback, and mystery shopper reports.
