Al sakhir: General His Highness Shaikh Mohammed bin Isa bin Salman Al Khalifa, Commander of the National Guard, received Brigadier Muhammad Idris Nawaz, Deputy Commandant of the Pakistan Military Academy (PMA) at Kakul, during his visit to the Kingdom. This meeting came in the wake of Pakistan's team securing first place in the inaugural Military Pace Stick Competition.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the competition took place today at the National Guard Camp in Al Sakhir and featured participation from teams representing the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) states, the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, the Bahrain Defence Force (BDF), and the National Guard. Gen. HH Shaikh Mohammed bin Isa extended his congratulations to the Pakistani infantry team for their outstanding performance.
During the meeting, Gen. HH Shaikh Mohammed bin Isa emphasized the importance of such events in fostering leadership skills and promoting the exchange of military expertise between participating nations. He encouraged continued engagement in activities that strengthen military cooperation.
