National Guard Commander Meets Pakistani Army Chief in Rawalpindi


Rawalpindi: His Highness General Shaikh Mohammed bin Isa Al Khalifa, National Guard Commander, has arrived in the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, where he held a meeting with Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, Pakistan’s Chief of Army Staff, at the General Headquarters in Rawalpindi.



According to Bahrain News Agency, Field Marshal Munir stated that the visit underscores ongoing efforts to strengthen relations between the Kingdom of Bahrain and Pakistan, especially in defence areas. His Highness praised the progress of military cooperation and exchange between the two countries. He also acknowledged Pakistan’s contribution, through its army, to supporting regional and international security and stability.



The meeting further explored matters of common interest and ways to enhance cooperation between Bahrain and Pakistan, with a particular focus on military affairs.
