Al raffah: The Bahrain Royal Equestrian and Endurance Federation (BREEF) is set to organise the National Day Show Jumping Championship this Friday at the Field of the Military Sports Union in Al Raffah. This event is expected to feature strong competition and wide participation from local riders and stables.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the championship is part of Bahrain's National Day celebrations and commemorates the 26th anniversary of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa's accession to the throne. This event is one of the various national celebrations taking place in the kingdom.
His Highness Shaikh Isa bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, President of BREEF, emphasized the ongoing development of equestrian sports in Bahrain, particularly show jumping. He noted that the current season has seen the organisation of two international championships named after His Highness Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa and His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa.
His Highness further remarked that the National Day Championship holds significant status among show jumping events as it coincides with national celebrations. It represents an important sporting occasion that attracts strong participation and competition.
He also mentioned that the federation has mobilised all available resources to ensure the championship's success and deliver it to the highest standards, extending his best wishes to all participating riders.
