Madinah:The Muslim Council of Elders, led by Professor Ahmed Al-Tayeb, Grand Imam of Al-Azhar, has condemned the Houthi group's drone attack on the Taibah power distribution station in Madinah, Saudi Arabia.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the council issued a statement denouncing the attack as a violation of Saudi Arabia's sovereignty, posing a threat to its security and stability, and provoking the sentiments of Muslims worldwide.
The Muslim Council of Elders expressed complete solidarity with Saudi Arabia, affirming its support for measures to protect the country's security and stability and safeguard the sanctity of Islamic holy sites.
