Muharraq Governor Expresses Gratitude to HM King for Designating 2026 as “Year of Isa Al Kabeer”

Muharraq: Salman bin Isa bin Hindi Al Mannai, Governor of Muharraq Governorate, on his own behalf and on behalf of all the people of Muharraq, expressed gratitude to His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa on the occasion of the Royal Order designating this year as the "Year of Isa Al Kabeer", in recognition of the founder of the modern state and the leader of its institutional development, His Highness Isa Al Kabeer.

According to Bahrain News Agency, Al Mannai emphasised that, given Muharraq's historic significance and its role in the nation, its people take pride in this Royal Order, which reflects loyalty to a leader who established the foundations of stability, built the state's legal and civil institutions, and contributed to Bahrain's prosperity across all fields.

He noted that the royal order reflects His Majesty the King's commitment to preserving the Kingdom's national memory and honouring historical figures who shaped its legacy. He added that the ongoing development projects in the historic city of Muharraq, and efforts to preserve its cultural and historical identity, continue this national tradition. He also expressed the people of Muharraq's appreciation for the leadership of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, in guiding government work and efforts to promote comprehensive development, support projects and initiatives, and strengthen Bahrain's progress and prosperity.
