Muharraq Governor Engages with Leaders of Maatams and Hussaini Processions

Muharraq: Salman bin Isa bin Hindi Al Mannai, Governor of Muharraq Governorate, welcomed the heads of Maatams (community centres) and Hussaini processions in a recent meeting. The gathering focused on enhancing cooperation and coordination for upcoming religious events.

According to Bahrain News Agency, the leaders of the Maatams and Hussaini processions conveyed their gratitude and allegiance to His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister. They acknowledged the royal patronage and government support that play a crucial role in the success of religious occasions, ensuring the availability of necessary resources.

Furthermore, the organisers expressed their appreciation to General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, Minister of Interior, for his directives to the security authorities. They praised the measures taken to provide high levels of support and organisation, which are vital for the safety and success of the Ashoora season.

The Governor emphasized the spirit of coexistence and national unity within the governorate, highlighting the leadership of His Majesty the King.
