The Ministerial Committee for Legal and Legislative Affairs has held its periodic meeting chaired by its chairman, Deputy Prime Minister Jawad bin Salem Al Arayyed.
The committee reviewed draft laws, treaties, agreements, memoranda of understanding and decisions that the committee studied at the request of the government and took the necessary measures and recommendations ahead of referring them to the Cabinet.
The committee considered draft laws based on bills submitted by the parliament and drafted by the Legislation and Legal Opinion Commission.
The committee has also studied proposals referred to the government by the parliament and prepared drafts of the government’s responses.
