Minister of Transportation meets with Saudi counterpart

Riyadh, Minister of Transportation and Telecommunication, Mohammed bin Thamer Al Ka’abi, paid an official visit to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia where he met with the Minister of Transportation and Logistic Services, Eng. Saleh bin Nasser Al Jasser.

The two ministers affirmed solid relations between the two kingdoms, describing them as a unique model of unity and cohesion at all levels thanks to the care of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud.

Both sides also discussed means of boosting bilateral cooperation, pointing out Bahrain’s keenness to adopt plans aimed at achieving integration in the transportation sector.

The Minister of Transportation and Telecommunication also met with the Governor of the General Authority for Zakat, Tax and Customs, Board Chairman of the King Fahd Causeway General Authority, Suhail Abanmi. They discussed future plans and studies to carry out joint projects. They also discussed boosting joint work and developing services and facilities to facilitate the movement of passengers and cargo to enhance bilateral trade exchange.

The minister also met wit Secretary General of the Digital Cooperation Organisation, Deemah Al Yahya, and discussed with her ways of boosting cooperation.
