Under the patronage of Her Highness Shaikha Noora bint Hamad bin Al Khalifa, Captain of Al Fursan Team, Team Bahrain Victorious emerged triumphant in the best horse condition category at a local race organized by the Bahrain Royal Equestrian and Endurance Federation (BREEF). The race, part of the second championship of the new 2023/2024 season, covered a distance of 120 kilometers.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the achievement is a testament to Her Highness’s commitment to fostering the growth of Bahraini endurance sports, which continue to garner international acclaim. Mohammed Khalid Al Ruwaie, representing Team Bahrain Victorious, secured the first place with the horse Esther Hippolyte, noted for its excellent condition at the race’s conclusion.
The award ceremony saw Ghalib Al Alawi, BREEF Assistant Secretary-General, and Tawfiq Al Salehi, Director of His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa’s Media Office and Information Centre, and Chairman of the Public Relations and Media at BREEF, present the accolade to the winning team. This recognition highlights the significant strides Bahrain is making in equestrian and endurance sports, bolstering its reputation in the international equestrian community.
