Marsa matruh: Egypt's National Seismic Network, affiliated with the National Research Institute of Astronomy and Geophysics, recorded a magnitude 5.12 earthquake 466 kilometres northwest of Marsa Matruh on Saturday. The institute reported that the earthquake occurred at 12:37:29 p.m. local time at a depth of 44.80 kilometres.
According to Bahrain News Agency, the institute also noted that there were no reports of residents feeling the tremor. Additionally, no casualties or property damage had been recorded following the seismic event.
