Manama:The Labour Market Regulatory Authority (LMRA) has upgraded its service to allow registered workers in Bahrain to verify the status and validity of their work permits through the MyGov App. This can be done using their ID card and passport numbers, alongside selecting their country via eKey 2.0.
According to Bahrain News Agency, The new service features an improved interface and user experience, with simplified procedures and unified service information across all channels. This update aims to make the service more accessible and improve the overall experience for beneficiaries.
Ahmed Ibrahim Al Arabi, LMRA Executive Vice President for Services and Business, noted that the development of this service reflects the Authority's dedication to enhancing its offerings and leveraging digital technologies to boost efficiency and accessibility. This allows beneficiaries to have a clearer and smoother experience.
Furthermore, the service is part of broader government efforts to enhance and re-engineer over 1,300 government services, with 800 services currently undergoing development. These initiatives are informed by feedback from the National Suggestions and Complaints System "Tawasul," investor feedback, and mystery shopper reports, aiming to improve service quality and advance government digital transformation.
