Manama: Ambassador Dr. Yusuf Abdulkarim Bucheeri, Director General of Legal Affairs and Human Rights at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, received a delegation from The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, led by Edward B. Rowe, a Member of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles and Advisor to the Presidency of the Middle East/Africa North Area of the Church. The meeting was attended by several members of the Church's delegation, emphasizing the dialogue between religious communities.
According to Bahrain News Agency, Dr. Bucheeri underscored the significance of enhancing dialogue and communication among followers of different religions and cultures. He reiterated Bahrain's dedication to supporting initiatives that promote tolerance, coexistence, understanding, and mutual respect, in alignment with the vision of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa. This commitment is reflected through various initiatives and institutions, such as the King Hamad Global Centre for Peaceful Coexistence, which embody these values.
